  • Mar. 2008Became the first Korean venture capital firm to be selected as an official asset manager of a Middle Eastern Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) (attracted investments from the SWFs of United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, US 300 million dollars)
  • Feb. 2007Established Win-win small & medium business fund for Gyeonggi and Chungnam (investment from Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do, KRW 25 billion)
  • Feb. 2007Established KTIC Cultural Content Investment Fund (investment from Korea Venture Investment Corporation, KRW 10 billion)
  • Nov. 2006Established Strategic alliance with Nikko Antfactory K.K. of Japan and participated in its investment capital

  • Aug. 1999Established the first corporate restructuring fund in Korea (KRW 208 billion)
  • Jun. 1999Authorized as Corporate Restructuring Company (CRC) (by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy)
  • Nov. 1997Awarded the Presidential Prize at the First National Venture Firm Competition
  • Apr. 1997Open an office in Silicon Valley, U.S.A.
  • Feb. 1997Successfully attracted foreign capital for the 2nd time (US 13.37 million dollars from JP Morgan, APAI Ltd. through the issuance of new shares with 400% premium)
  • Nov. 1995Took control of the company through Management Buyout (MBO)
  • Aug. 1990 Became the first Korean venture capital firm to successfully attract foreign capital (US 13 million dollars from Baring Group in the U.K. through issuance of new shares with 220% premium)

1980's

  • Aug. 1989Became the first Korean venture capital firm to list on the KOSDAQ
  • Nov. 1987Established a venture investment fund for the first time in Korea (KRW 5 billion)
  • Jun. 1987Offered shares to public (KRW 3.6 billion)
  • Dec. 1986Raised Funds from the government (KRW 1 billion as Business Startup Support Fund)
  • Nov. 1986Founded the company as the first venture capital firm in Korea (KRW 2 billion in capital under the Small Business Startup and Venture Support Law)
